Quality Assurance

SLI has a 3-step Quality Assurance procedure in place to ensure that the final CD-ROM product is a bit by bit replica of the original master CD supplied by the client. After the CD-ROMs are moulded and stamped with data, they are validated by the Dr. Schenk’s Analyzer machine which checks the physical properties of the disc to make sure that there are no scratches or uneven surfaces on the disc that would render it unreadable. Further, the CD-ROMs are also tested by the Koch Tester which digitally checks for any errors in the data replicated. Lastly, the CD-ROMs are tested by a software program to ensure the bit by bit replication of the data with reference to the client’s Master CD.
